My May Day Holiday
Last week I had a wonderful May Day holiday. My family and I went to a nearby mountain for a two-day trip. On the first day we woke up early and started hiking at around 800 am. The mountain was covered with green trees and fresh air. We walked for about three hours and finally reached the peak. The view from the top was amazing We could see the whole city and the surrounding countryside. After taking many photos we went down the mountain and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon we visited a nearby temple and learned some interesting stories about Chinese mythology. Then we checked into a cozy hotel and rested for a while. In the evening we went out to have dinner and watched a movie in a cinema.
On the second day we went to a famous hot spring resort and enjoyed soaking ourselves in the hot water. It was really relaxing and refreshing. In the afternoon we packed our stuff and went back home.
Overall it was a fantastic holiday and I had a great time with my family. I hope we can have more trips like this in the future.
