Although bicycles are considered a traditional mode of transportation they are still the most efficient means in a city where traffic congestion is a major obstacle to efficiency. Thus city governments should encourage their citizens to ride bicycles more by providing more bicycle lanes and bicycle parking lots as well as promoting its environmental benefits.
In conclusion more city residents should consider changing their current travel mode to bicycles in order to save time and reduce traffic congestion which will lead to a better quality of life. It is also important for the government to continuously improve the infrastructure for bicycles to make it an even more popular mode of transport.
