During my summer vacation I went on a trip to the beach with my family. We rented a house in a small beach town for a week. Every day we would wake up early and go for a walk on the beach. The weather was perfect—sunny with a light breeze—so we spent most of our time lounging on the sand and swimming in the ocean.
One day we decided to take a boat tour of the nearby islands. We saw all kinds of wildlife including dolphins and pelicans and even got to go snorkeling in a secluded cove. It was the highlight of the trip for me.
In the evenings we would grill fresh seafood and watch the sunset from our porch. We also visited some of the local shops and restaurants trying out new foods and souvenirs.
