I recently partited in a volunteer activity that was very rewarding for me. The activity was held at an elementary school where we volunteers taught children how to spell words correctly.
At first I didn't know how to teach the children how to spell words correctly but I did my best to help them. At the same time I provided them with some interesting methods to help them memorize these words. For example when they were spelling a word I would ask them to divide the word into several parts and then mark each part with a different color pen so that it would be easier for them to remember.
In this activity I not only helped the children but also learned a lot myself. I learned how to teach children how to spell words correctly and how to communicate effectively with them. This activity made me realize the importance of volunteer work and also made me love life even more.
