Firstly I would recommend visiting the downtown area. There are lots of charming shops and restaurants and the architecture is really unique. You can even take a walking tour to learn more about the history of the town.
Another great attraction is the nearby nature reserve. You can hike or bike through the woods and there are some stunning viewpoints where you can take in the scenery. If you're lucky you might even spot some wildlife

However there are also downsides to both types of living. Small towns can sometimes feel limiting with fewer opportunities for socializing and less diversity. The job market may be limited and there may be less access to certain amenities such as healthcare. Conversely big cities can be overwhelming with high levels of noise and pollution. The cost of living can also be much higher and people may feel disconnected from their community.
As for my own preferences I must admit that I am biased towards small towns. I enjoy the quieter pace of life and the strong sense of community that comes with living in a small town. That being said I can see the appeal of living in a big city particularly for people who crave excitement and a wider range of opportunities.
