A Miracle of Life
Life is a precious gift from God and it is full of miracles. As a young student I have witnessed such a miracle and it has deeply touched my heart.
One day when I was walking home from school I saw an old woman lying on the ground. She was pale and lifeless and it seemed as if she was not breathing. I immediately called for an ambulance and stayed with her until help arrived. The ambulance arrived quickly and the paramedics were able to revive her. She was rushed to the hospital and I later found out that she had suffered a heart attack.
I was amazed by the whole experience. It was a miracle to see the old woman come back to life. It made me realize the fragility of life and the importance of living each day to the fullest. From then on I have always tried to help others in need and appreciate the gift of life that has been given to me.
In conclusion life is a miracle that should be treasured and appreciated. We never know when our time on earth may come to an end so it is important to make the most of each day and help others whenever we can. Let us all strive to make a positive difference in the world and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

Directions Write an essay of 160-200 words based on the following drawing. In your essay you should
1) describe the drawing briefly
2) explain its intended meaning
3) give your comments
The cartoon depicts a scene where a teacher is asking a student to define "success" and the student responds by pointing at a picture of a person holding a trophy. The intended meaning of the cartoon is that many people equate success solely with winning or achieving a certain level of material wealth rather than focusing on personal growth or fulfillment.
I think this cartoon is thought-provoking and timely as the pressure to succeed is a major issue in modern society. Too often we are made to believe that success is only attainable through external markers such as high grades a prestigious job or a fancy car. However true success should be measured by our own internal satisfaction and sense of purpose. Success can mean different things to different people for some it may be achieving financial stability while for others it may be a positive impact on the world. Ultimately success should not be defined by external validation but rather by our own values and priorities.
In conclusion while winning and material success may bring temporary pleasures true success is much deeper and long-lasting. We should aim to redefine success as something more personal and meaningful to our own lives rather than being influenced by societal pressures and external expectations.
