This can translate to better motor skills and faster reflexes in real life. Secondly video games can provide a healthy outlet for stress and frustration. That being said it is important for parents to understand that moderation is key. Too much time spent playing video games can lead to negative consequences such as neglecting responsibilities poor academic performance and even addiction. Parents should work together with their children to establish a healthy balance of video game play and other activities such as exercise hobbies and socializing with friends.
In conclusion video games can provide many benefits for young people but only if they are played in moderation.
