Yesterday was my birthday and I held a small party with my family and a few close friends in the evening. We decorated the living room with balloons and streamers and my mom made a delicious cake with my favorite flavor.
During the party we played some games like charades and board games. We also opened presents and I received some really nice gifts from my friends. After that we sang "Happy Birthday" and I blew out the candles on my cake.
We then had dinner together and my dad cooked some of my favorite dishes. We talked and laughed a lot and it was so much fun. My family and friends also gave me some heartfelt birthday wishes and messages which made me feel loved and appreciated.
Overall it was a simple but meaningful birthday party. I felt grateful for having such wonderful people in my life and I will remember this special day for a long time.
