How to Maintain a Healthy Eating Habit
As the saying goes “You are what you eat.” It is important to keep a healthy eating habit to stay physically and mentally well. Here are some tips for maintaining it.
First and foremost one should balance their diet. Our body needs a variety of nutrients including carbohydrates proteins fats vitamins and minerals. We should not rely on a single food item or nutrient but consume a variety of foods in appropriate amounts. For example we can eat grains meat eggs milk fruits and vegetables in a reasonable proportion.
Secondly one should control calorie intake. Eating too much food too quickly or too often will lead to obesity which is harmful to our health. We need to have a clear understanding of what our daily calorie requirement is and consume food accordingly. We can reduce portion sizes choose low-fat or low-sugar alternatives and avoid eating late at night.
Thirdly we should eat more fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins fibers and antioxidants which are essential to our body. We can eat them as snacks or add them to our meals. In this way we can boost our immunity prevent chronic diseases and maintain a healthy weight.
Lastly we should limit our intake of junk food. Junk food such as fast food candy and soda is usually high in calories sugar salt and trans fats which are bad for our health. We can choose healthier alternatives such as nuts yogurt or herbal tea.
In conclusion a healthy eating habit is essential for our physical and mental wellbeing. By balancing our diet controlling calorie intake eating more fruits and vegetables and limiting our intake of junk food we can maintain a healthy lifestyle. As you know I will be graduating in July 2019 and have recently applied for a job position. Fortunately I was selected for an interview but I am feeling very nervous about it. I want to do my best to impress the employer and get the job.
To prepare for the interview I have been researching the company and reviewing my strengths and weaknesses. I have also been practicing answering potential interview questions with a friend. However I still feel like I could use some more guidance.

This is Mr. Brown's second visit to Jinan during his stay in Shandong. He will visit several schools next week.
Mr. Brown will visit some places first. He will take a train to Taian to climb Mount Tai.
Then he will take a bus to Qufu to visit Confucius Temple. Then he will return to Jinan by bus. Then he will fly to Qingdao.
He will stay there for a few days and give a speech on American English. Finally, he will fly back from Qingdao to the United States. Mr.
Brown came to Shandong to visit some of his schools in Jinan. This is his second time here next week. He will visit some places first.
He wants to climb mountains in Tai'an by train. After returning to Jinan by bus, he will visit Confucius Temple in Qufu. He will fly to Qingdao and stay there for a few days.
After the speech, he will give an American English speech. He will fly back to the United States and finish his visit to China.
