The table shows the satisfaction rate of consumers in a certain city with regard to three types of products namely clothing electronic products and household appliances. Strikingly the satisfaction rate of these three types of products differs greatly.
Clothing enjoys the highest satisfaction rate with 90% of the consumers being satisfied. Electronic products and household appliances however only have 70% and 50% of their consumers satisfied respectively.
The reasons for such a gap are various. Firstly people may have more knowledge and experience of buying clothing thus they can choose the appropriate styles and sizes for themselves more easily. Secondly electronic products are not always user-friendly and sometimes require a certain amount of knowledge to operate which can be difficult for some consumers. Finally household appliances are more complicated and result in higher maintenance costs which may consume more money and time.
In conclusion the satisfaction rate of consumers with regard to these three types of products is different and the reasons behind this difference vary. When buying electronic products and household appliances consumers should choose carefully taking into account their own needs and knowledge of usage and be prepared for possible maintenance costs.
